Congrats to Faculty-Student Research Team!

Dr. Doug Flamming and HTS major Della Hall are working together on a project studying Navajo Culture.

Dr. Flamming applied for UROP's Materials, Supplies, and Travel Grant on Della's behalf this summer, and she has received $1,000 in travel money to conduct her research.

Della will be traveling to the University of New Mexico's Center for Southwest Research in Albuquerque, New Mexico to obtain primary source documents about Navajo culture - specifically the influence of wind. She will be looking mostly through transcribed oral histories, as well as other archival materials.

Congrats to both of you!  If you're interested in doing some undergraduate research, contact Dr. D'Unger.  There are lots of opportunities, and funding to do it!
