CETL 4001 (Principles of Learning and Teaching, I) is offered both in SUMMER and FALL.   This course focuses on the knowledge and skills necessary for effective classroom instruction and management including: educational psychology, instructional design, and delivery techniques.   This course is a great way to "try out" education, and counts as a free elective.

CETL 4803 PR (formerly listed as 4002) will be offered in the FALL.  4001 is the pre-requisite for this course.  This course includes a practicum in a school.

All students must obtain a PERMIT to register for these courses.  For more information on the courses, and to request your permit, go to http://www.cetl.gatech.edu/courses/ugradcourses.htm (and scroll down to the bottom of the page). Contact Beth Spencer with any questions.
