Please join me in congratulating Angel Long and Ashok Maharaj. Angel has had her predoc position as an associate historian at the Naval Research Laboratory renewed for a second year. She continues to work on the construction of the space-based World Weather Watch in the 1960s. Ashok, currently a fellow at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington DC, has been recruited to a permanent position with the Tata Human Resources Institute in Chennai, India. The Tata Institute was attracted by his competence in transnational history, and in the history of NASA-Indian relations in particular.
