The current exhibit in the Ferst Center galleries is a photography exhibit by a group of Atlanta women artists called Women In Focus. The exhibit is part of Atlanta Celebrates Photography and is the 17th annual juried exhibit by the photography group. This show is juried by Brenda Massie, director of Hagedorn Gallery. She selected 90 images from the 26 artists who submitted. The show will be in the Ferst Center galleries through October 30th.
Women in Focus will host an exhibit reception on Wed., Oct. 13 at 6:30 PM. The reception is a casual event that gives guests an opportunity to meet the artists as well as view the work. Feel free to pass this information along to your students and staff. If you would like to otherwise schedule a time to view the exhibit, please let me know.
