Message from Dean Jacqueline Jones Royster

September 1, 2010, Jacqueline Jones Royster became Dean of Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts.  She is the first African-American to hold an academic decanal post at Georgia Tech. 
Dean Royster is a professor of English with interests related to rhetorical studies, women's studies, and literacy. She holds the Ivan Allen Jr. Dean's Chair in Liberal Arts and Technology and is a professor in the School of Literature, Communication, and Culture.
