Ever since Charles Darwin wrote “The Expression of Emotions in Man and Animals” in 1872, biologists have been wondering about whether and how children learn to show happiness and fear, anger and surprise. Professor Greg Gibson’s group in the School of Biology has initiated a study to quantify facial variation using an advanced 3D imaging camera that generates lifelike rotating pictures of your face.
