The Pro Bono Initiative is an exciting internship opportunity that Livingston, Graham & Martin, a philanthropic consulting company, is offering students in the Atlanta area. LG Martin will match accepted students with a nonprofit organization in the Atlanta area where they will focus on one specific project (for example curriculum development, fundraising, membership recruitment, marketing, etc) for the semester. This internship will be unpaid, but offers a unique opportunity to make an impact on a smaller charity while gaining nonprofit experience. Minimum GPA of 2.5 to be eligible to participate. For more information, click "Read More." Accepted interns will be matched with a carefully selected nonprofit where they will work in one of the following areas:
Marketing/Branding; Special Events; Fundraising/Grant Writing; Program Development; Strategic Planning; Research/Needs Assessment; Board Development; Technology; and Compliance Assessment. Throughout the semester, LG Martin will serve as a connection between the nonprofit and their intern. Interns will gain consulting/nonprofit experience while working with nonprofits to make a difference in their community. Internships are unpaid, but college credit is available.
Internships are at least 20 hours a week. Depending on the needs of the organization and the schedules of the interns, it can be more. All internship postings span the entirety of the semester.
