EERAI (Entreprise Rhône-Alpes International) is the economic development agency of the Rhône-alps region in France. For additional information, please visit: www.erai.org.  Our primary goal is to develop relationships between the United-States and the region with two main activities:

·         Assisting small and medium-sized companies from Rhone-Alps to develop business relationships with their US counterparts

·         Assisting American companies in their business expansion plans in Rhone-Alps

Inward Investment

Assisting Erai USA’s project managers in their inward investment activities by:

·                     The completion of databases for strategically-important business sectors in Rhone-Alps and/or the US. E-mailings including a presentation of the Rhone-Alps region and our services. Assistance in the draft of commercial offers for potential investors in Rhone-Alps
·                     The prospection (phone calls) of American companies in order to understand their needs in Europe and in France, possibly meeting with the companies interested in investing in Rhone-Alps
·                     The analysis and the follow-up of US leads in strategically-important business sectors in the Rhone-Alps region as well as general leads provided by the French headquarters or the local and regional press
·                     Preparation, prospection and participation for tradeshows within the US.

Export services

Assisting Erai’s project managers in their daily activities. May include feasibility studies for French companies willing to develop further on the US market. Draft of promotional documents in English. Translation from French into English.

Others:  Candidate will perform administrative tasks to include data entry, database reconciliation, document mailing.

Duration of the internship: 6 months minimum. Full or part time positions.

Qualifications: 
  • Bilingual French and English is required 
  • Highly organized and motivated
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, any CRM software experience would be appreciated
  • Adaptable, flexible and proactive
  • Good social skills
  • Team player
