Interested in history or sociology? Interested in research and archives? The National Archives in Atlanta is currently looking for a student to employ.
Job duties would include:
-assist patrons with research in original records
-assist patrons with research using microfilm and computer sources
-answer reference requests via phone, email, and letter
-perform preservation tasks on original records
-create finding aids and databases
-perform records moves
-write records descriptions
The Archives will work with your schedule and limits the work to 24 hours per week. Pay is $13.70 an hour and the Archives are located in Morrow, GA. Go to www.archives.gov/southeast/public/ for more information.
